Cherohala Skyway: Episode II - Fall Colors
This 4K cinematic drone film was captured on the Cherohala Skyway near the Obadiah Overlook (North Carolina). Despite some windy and cloudy conditions, I managed to capture the fall colors from a picturesque view. I made an attempt to film at Huckleberry Knob, but fog and 60+ miles per hour wind made that an impossibility. Most of the fall colors were also on the ground at those higher elevations. The Cherohala Skyway is a 43 mile road that traverses the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina. The name comes from the combination of the Nantahala and Cherokee National Forests.
