There are so many scenic locations on Lake Allatoona and this location was stunning in the light of the sunrise. This film was captured in the area near Glade Marina, Allatoona Point, Allatoona Pass Battlefield, Allatoona Landing, and McKinney Campground. There are also views of Red Top Mountain State Park in the distance. I came to this location to cover a charity event for Special Needs Kids Day at the Lake and had some time to fly around the area before the event started. The charity event is held annually and provides an opportunity for special needs kids (and their families) to enjoy a boat parade on the lake with the help of many volunteers.
