This time lapse (sometimes called hyperlapse) drone film of Stone Mountain captures the majesty of the mountain and the beauty of its surroundings. The Atlanta skyline can also be seen in the distance. This film was captured entirely outside of Stone Mountain Park. In fact, it was captured approximately one mile a way from the mountain. I have captured many Downtown and Midtown Atlanta films that feature Stone Mountain in background. This is the first film where Stone Mountain takes center stage and the Atlanta skyline is in the background.

This film captures the Atlanta skyline from Westside Park as the sun rises over the city. The park was recently renamed Shirley Clarke Franklin Park after Atlanta's first female Mayor. In addition to walking trails, pavilions, and views of the reservoir, this location provides a stunning profile of the city skyline. Sit back and enjoy the 4k experience on your computer, HDTV, or mobile device.

On a recent trip to Chattanooga, I saw Rocky Face right near Interstate 75 in Dalton, Georgia. The mountain had a great, rugged look due the prominent rock near the top. I knew then that I had to come back and try to capture the mountain with my drone. Several months later, I read that there was a park in the area named Rocky Face Ridge Park. From the research I conducted, it looked like a great place to fly from. There are a number of hiking and mountain biking trails to enjoy and free parking. It's a great place to visit for some exercise, or just to take in the scenery. Enjoy my tribute to the park and the mountain.

Enjoy this relaxing aerial tour of White Oak Park in Paulding County, Georgia. White Oak Park is located near Dallas, Georgia. It has three lakes, disc golf, a walking trail, a fitness trail, two playgrounds, and several pavilions and picnic areas. There's still a little fall foliage left on the trees and it was captured during the golden hour of sunset.

Enjoy this relaxing aerial flyover tour of Orphan Brigade Battlefield Park in Paulding County, Georgia. The park is located near Dallas, Georgia. There are two trailheads for the park. One is located in Sara Babb Park (216 Recreation Drive Dallas, Ga 30132) and the other is near the Dallas Post Office (110 Orphan Brigade Dr. Dallas, GA 30132). The park features a paved 1.3 mile walking/biking trail that cuts through an area with some of the more prominent (small) mountains in Paulding County. The flyovers follow the trail in each direction. The film is shown at enhanced speed to reduce its running time. This morning was very cold and windy and I had the entire trail to myself. The music reflects the atmosphere of that morning.
