Brasstown Bald is the highest point in the Georgia. The conditions at this location are often challenging with high winds, cold temperatures, and low visibility. It was windy and cold on this day, but the visibility was good. The structure on the summit has an observation area, museum, and a fire watch tower. The structure is such a prominent feature on the peak that it can be seen from miles away. This was a great opportunity to see what it looked it like from above.
